The Beer Factory began operations in the Western Sydney suburb of Seven Hills in 2006. This brew-on-premise beer brewing business was founded by husband and wife team, Stuart and Fran Boag. Yes, there is a distant connection to that other Tasmanian brewery! And they both enjoy a beer.

Stuart brought to the business over eight years experience with one of Australia’s largest breweries but decided to take his passion and vision for beer and brewing and step out on his own. Supported by Fran, The Beer Factory Seven Hills was established and has slowly been opening the eyes and palettes of beer drinker’s to the wonderful opportunity brew-on-premise can provide.

2007 saw the start of the next phase of the business with the opening of the Wollongong franchise, run by father and daughter team Peter and Lain Venables.

We are very excited about the potential for brew-on-premise in Australia, and the opportunity of building a brand and business network with a clear focus on our customers, and quality products. We look forward to speaking personally to beer drinkers who are interested in becoming customers or a future franchisee.
